Not a whole lot to talk about this month, and not a lot of time to talk about it lol
I’ve been pretty busy, but mostly with friends and personal stuff going on. I took a trip to Amsterdam about 2 weeks ago now, and I’m going to Minnesota this weekend for my friend’s wedding.
Amsterdam was cool, not really my kind of city. But cities really aren’t my thing anyway. It’s not quite as “degenerate” or rough or anything as I thought it would be. There is some pot smell, but it’s more directly in front of the coffeeshops. The redlight district was pretty weird, but it’s blocked off well so you probably wouldn’t accidentally go down it. I didn’t participate in anything people “normally” go to Amsterdam for, but it was still a good trip. The boat tours and historical sites around it are super cool and interesting.
Next year If I take an international trip, I’m going to try to avoid Europe. It’s a very cool place, but 3 years in a row is a little wild. I’d really like to go to Hokkaido Japan, but my friends want to go to Tokyo/Kyoto more, so that would probably be where we went. Canada would also be another cool place to go again, maybe not Toronto though. I’d like to go to Montana or the Yukon at some point, so maybe I just do some hiking or something next year. One of my friends mentioned a Philadelphia trip for the Letter Kenny live show, which would be around my birthday. That’d be cool.
